Arsene Wenger revealed that he is quite worried over the knock with the 22-year-old English midfielder suffering a similar problem in the past.
He said: “It’s difficult to say how bad it is.
“Normally it would not be too bad but I am a bit cautious because of his history.”
Former player Ray Palour believes the back-room staff should pay special attention to the English international as he seems him as an vital member.
“He’s good on the ball, composed, good at going past players
“The biggest thing for him is staying fit. He’s had his injury problems over last two years.
“Just as he gets his form back, he’s out for seven games.
“He needs to look after his body and Arsene Wenger needs to keep playing him on a regular basis.”
